These program packages have a sensible basic equipment so that further extensions are an option rather than a necessity.

Should you wish to extend your LOCKBASE program package at a later date all other components are available as expansion options which can be integrated into your LOCKBASE package at any time.

FURTHER LOCKBASE FEATURES

Web Update Service: If your computer offers internet access, LOCKBASE searches, downloads and automatically installs new updates from the LOCKBASE web server, if you wish.

User Administration:

LOCKBASE has a comprehensive User Administration. One can create an unlimited number of users that can be given different access rights to data and program functions.

Data Import of CSV files (e.g. from Excel):

Any number of import formats can be defined and stored. Using the clipboard, CSV import formats can be imported.

Extended Search Function:

Search terms can be found within several data fields. The results could be highlighted or the search term can be used as a filter.

History of Keys and Persons:

All key issues or returns can be displayed or printed out whether by key history or user history.

Order Administration:

enables a direct assignment of cylinders and keys to the orders. Additionally, the order administration provides a small customer database.

Data Synchronisation:

If one expands a master key system, the manufacturer’s new data (new keys/cylinders) can be automatically forwarded to the customer via data synchronisation. (LOCKBASE Manager and Manager lite)

Format Templates:

Templates can be created which define the display of the locking system, font, sequence and length of the data fields, print formatting etc. The format templates can be assigned to new or existing systems.

Security Cards:

LOCKBASE allows to create and manage the security cards of dealers. In contrast to end customer security cards, which can only be assigned to a single master key system, dealer security cards are independent of a specific master key system and can be assigned to several master key systems.

Structure Analysis:

LOCKBASE uses an analysis function to determine whether the master key system has a hierarchical structure: Which keys and cylinders form groups and which groups contain subgroups? An existing group structure facilitates both the calculation and the management of a master key system.

Consistency Check:

After the complete data entry, the internal consistency of the master key system can be controlled. The selected rules are checked and any deviations found are presented for further processing. In this way, for example, an erroneous double numbering can be avoided.

Ground Plan Module:

With Ground Plan Module architectural drawings of buildings can be embedded. One can insert and position previously created door data sets and display the access for key holders, the locking functions of keys or the location of cylinders in a spatial representation.

Language Choice:

The desired language can be selected in the menu: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The user can create additional languages.

Online Manual:

The LOCKBASE online help describes in detail the structure and functionality of LOCKBASE. The context sensitive help gives exact information about the area you are currently in.

Data Transfer via Clipboard:

It is possible to copy and paste records via the clipboard. In this way you can copy records within a file or from one file to another. With the clipboard it is also possible to import records from an external text file or spreadsheet into LOCKBASE.

Print Manager:

Configurable forms can be printed out, such as the Locking Plan, Cylinder Pinning List, Key Cutting List, Labels, History of Keys / Persons, Key Issue and Return Receipts, Orders, Stock Lists, List of Materials, Lists of Persons, Departments, Cylinders, Doors, Buildings and Keys in any variation, so that questions such as: Which persons have access to which doors can be clearly displayed.
