LOCKBASE MATRIX

The LOCKBASE Matrix is a software for locksmiths and manufacturers. It is used to represent the locking functionality and to specify a master key system.

It displays a lock chart presentation of doors/cylinders, keys and their connections in the System Matrix view. Anyone experienced in the use of lock charts can easily see, enter and edit all the necessary data for the production of master key systems.

With the consistency check, keys’ and cylinders’ entries can be checked and cylinders keyed alike can be assigned.

One can choose between the conventional view of the System Matrix and the Euro Matrix format. The Euro Matrix format makes the System Matrix considerably more compact and gives a better overview. For big master key systems containing a lot of change keys the Euro Matrix is very helpful. The Euro Matrix format consists of two matrices in one view. On the left hand side you will find a Matrix of the superior keys (top master key and master keys) listed vertically against the cylinders horizontally. On the right a second Matrix shows the central cylinders listed vertically against the cylinders’ change keys listed horizontally.

Important documents such as the System Matrix, Key Bitting List, Cylinder Pinning List, Key Stock Lists, forms, orders, History of Keys/Persons can be printed out.

The B2B Peer-to-Peer Module offers reliable addressing and message transmission as well as intelligent document management. The risk of insecure data transmission of sensitive master key system data can thus be eliminated.
